After losing his son to cancer, former Washington Redskins player and Super Bowl XXVI MVP Mark Rypien honored his memory by establishing the Rypien Foundation. The nonprofit strives to offer hope to families affected by childhood cancer, and garners support for its various programs and activities with benefit events such as the annual Winemakers’ Dinner.

The benefit takes place at Northern Quest Resort and Casino in Spokane, Washington, and offers an evening of delicious food and premium wines. Scheduled for March 14, 2015, the event will feature a gourmet multi-course meal crafted by executive chef Bob Rogers of Masselow’s Restaurant. Guests will enjoy the dinner alongside a selection of carefully paired wines sourced from two of the state’s top wineries, Waters Winery and Col Solare. In addition to indulging in gourmet cuisine and interacting with local winemakers, guests can also take part in silent and live auctions benefiting the Rypien Foundation.
