Rypien Foundation – Constructing a Hospital Terrace

Michael Quiel is a Fountain Hills, Arizona, investment professional who maintains a commitment to supporting nonprofit organizations in the local community. Michael Quiel is a significant contributor to the Rypien Foundation, which spearheads programs that provide assistance to children living with cancer and their families.

One accomplishment of the Rypien Foundation involved the building of an outdoor terrace on the third floor of the Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. The terrace was built connected to the pediatric oncology unit and allows children the opportunity to take in fresh air and enjoy a scenic view. What was before empty space has become a healing play area that includes sport court flooring and a Hoopfest basketball hoop.

The Rypien Foundation has also partnered with the Hope on Wheels fundraiser and Hallmark Hyundai in arranging the donation of $25,000 to the Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. To learn more about the Rypien Foundation’s full range of charitable activities, visit RypienFoundation.org.
